Abstract

This study aims to analyze and determine the effect of Job Stress and Work Environment on Employee Performance in the Quality Control Section at PT Chingluh Indonesia Tangerang. The number of respondents who were sampled in this study were 76 respondents with predetermined criteria. The technique used in this study using purposive sampling. In this study, data analysis was used using SPSS version 26. The data testing techniques carried out in this study were validity test, reliability test, normality test, partial correlation analysis, coefficient of determination (R2), multiple regression test, and hypothesis test (t test and F). The results of the study show that work stress affects employee performance and the work environment on employee performance. From the results of the partial t test for the variable Job Stress (X1) it is obtained t count = 2,373 > t table 1,992. Then Ho = Rejected and Ha = Accepted. So there is an influence of Job Stress on Employee Performance in the Quality Control Section at PT Chingluh Indonesia Tangerang. The percentage of work stress on employee performance is 26.6%. and the partial test results for the Work Environment variable (X2) obtained t count = 2,453 > t table 1,992. Then Ho = Rejected and Ha = Accepted. So there is an influence of the work environment on the performance of employees in the Quality Control Section at PT Chingluh Indonesia Tangerang. The percentage of the work environment on employee performance is 27.5%. For the results of the F test for the variables Work Stress (X1) and Work Environment (X2) obtained F count 8.969 > F table 3.122. Then Ho = Rejected and Ha = Accepted. So there is an influence of Job Stress and Work Environment on Employee Performance in the Quality Control Section at PT Chingluh Indonesia Tangerang. The percentage effect of work stress and work environment on employee performance is 19.7% while the remaining 81.3% is influenced by other factors
