PENGARUH RETURN ON ASSET (ROA), RETURN ON EQUITY (ROE), DAN NET PROFIT MARGIN (NPM) TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN LABA PADA PERUSAHAAN SEKTOR INDUSTRI BARANG KONSUMSI YANG TERDAFTAR DI BURSA EFEK INDONESIA PERIODE TAHUN 2019 – 2021

Abstrak

ABSTRACT

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of Return On Assets (ROA), Return On Equity (ROE), and Net Profit Margin (NPM) on profit growth in consumer goods industrial sector companies listed on the IDX for the period 2019-2021. The research method used in this study is a quantitative method. The population used in this study is a consumer goods industrial sector company listed on the IDX for the period 2019-2021 using purposive sampling technique. So that the sample obtained is 37 companies with a total of 111 observations of data for 3 years of observation. Data collection technique is documentation. The data analysis technique used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS V25 software. Regression analysis by t test (partial test), Return On Assets (ROA) has no significant effect on profit growth, Return On Equity (ROE) has a positive and significant effect on profit growth, and Net Profit Margin (NPM) has a positive and insignificant effect on profit growth. While simultaneously showing the effect of Return On Assets (ROA), Return On Equity (ROE), and Net Profit Margin (NPM) on profit growth in consumer goods industrial sector companies listed on the IDX for the period 2019-2021.
